Engagement sessions are so much fun to do. The process of documenting and sharing a couple’s journey together is a pleasure. Our team is blessed with the most beautiful light at Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanical Garden and Pasadena for our wonderful couple – Nathan and Vanessa. 

We started our session at Arboretum, embracing their love of the outdoors, and of course each other. We kept the shoot simple and prop-free but capturing the romance in it. We were lucky to have warm weather and a setting sun which gave us pockets of lights within the leaves and the trees which are vibrant and in full glory. They were both naturals in front of the camera and needed little direction from our team. We explained that we are looking for- basically for them to be themselves and we had already asked them to come armed to be affectionate with each other. No reminder needed! It was just down to me and Thet to choose our background and composition and work with the gorgeous light.

Our next snapping site was in the heritage of early downtown charm and historic alleyways with architectural accents of Pasadena. No fussy props or fancy location. Our couple was effortlessly, epically, head-over heels in love. We just capture the natural connection between Nathan and Vanessa and with such a simple back drop; this is an effortlessly romantic engagement shoot.

Every looked showed their love in their eyes – from the first time they met at downtown Fullertown until the present. Their eyes locked and just beamed at each other. It was really special.  Nathan and Vanessa were super relaxed and have a lovely and fun relationship.

How wonderful it is when couples are excited for things to come, when they look forward to the things that God has in store for them. We’re delighted to share Roy and Stephanie beautiful engagement sessions captured by our team! A sun filled day in Downtown Los Angeles. They chose a part of the city they loved to visit. They wanted a Downtown engagement shoot and an urban feel, but an elegant and pretty urban rather than a gritty urban. The beautiful areas with open spaces and great views. A little greenery and some beautiful buildings made for some great photos.

Roy and Stephanie had a specific vision for their day. They wanted it to be classy, fun and with a little glam thrown in the mix. The mood was light, relaxed but dull of excitement for the day ahead. They know how to laugh and enjoy the others company. When we met up with them we immediately were drawn to their fun personalities. Stephanie is energetic, fun and vibrant. Roy is more on the quiet side but he did bring us lots of laughs. Together they are super compatible ad such a joy to hang out with.

The gorgeous sunny day turned into warm and beautiful evening. We grabbed a few moment with the happy couple for some night time photos. Their pictures came out so romantic.

The setting in Downtown was certainly rad but the company was even better. That’s because Roy and Stephanie were completely relaxed, fun and were just good people. I mean they were genuinely awesome people and I hope our photos captured some energy because it was a great day.  We still have a really lovely time together and Roy and Stephanie were a total joy to photograph with and get to know a little better!

We have a super couple Jonathan and Victoria features in our lifestyle engagement shoot. Our team and our lovely couple were so relaxed in their engagement shoot in the historic area of Pasadena. The landmark of it has become the hub of culture and leisure. It was wonderful to see couple so in love and so in tune with each other. Embracing their love while we kept the shoot simple capturing the romance. We consider the composition, the light and the environment. And the result, we ultimately had the magic moments that matter most – their love.

But we are not done yet with the session. It is really refreshing to have a shoot where the couple is just hanging out, enjoying each other’s company at their favorite place. Jonathan and Victoria’s unfussy, quirky and beautiful coffee shop engagement shoot here at Café 86. The place had their heart and held some special memories. The shop has good atmosphere and not to full that is why we enjoyed taking photos. Jonathan and Vctoria were very relaxed in front of the camera and have a lovely fun relationship which was fantastic to photograph. They are very responsive to some gentle directions. We have captured natural connection between them with such a simple background. This is an effortlessly romantic engagement session.

We had that good energy and good energy means good photos. Their sweet smiles and easy way with each other is just perfect. There love is absolutely and utterly clear for all to see in this gorgeous set of images. The warmth and the love in their eyes are totally magical.

We had a great time with our couple. Jonathan and Victoria love being around one another and it really shows in the photos. Enjoy this down-to earth engagement shoot and a big thanks to Jonathan and Victoria for trusting our team.

This engagement shoot is all a propos of the story between two very young people very in love. We are delighted to share our photo shoot with Joe and Christina – walking hand in hand and the stories they are living in.

We have no excuse to visit the beach and today’s fabulous session takes us to the classic and golden sand of Santa Monica Pier Beach.  The shoot has such a hip vibe with the peaceful sandy setting of the ocean views. The enormous sun sinking into the Pacific, and we got much better than this because of our sweet and loving couple. It is not about all the pretty details, but the pure and true love that our couple wanted- to grow old together. The light, the soft breeze and the love makes this engagement shoot one of the calmest and dreamy set of image we are lucky to capture.

We had to move around quiet quickly, which was not an issue as Joe and Christina were so relaxed and came prepared to be amorous with each other! As the sun lowered in the sky, our team was able to document beautifully tender moments between our couple. With the majestic views of the Griffith Observatory as their backdrop, this incredible couple posed for an effortlessly chic shoot. Our spirits were not dampened. This kind of shoot is the emphasis of an engagement session which is beautifully relaxed.

This atmospheric engagement shoot in that beautiful evening told us their love story. They embraced the session, both having fun larking and creating intimate moments in a scenic setting. It is pretty fitting that our couple is sun, candid, romantic and beautiful. Our team knew that they would be very good fun and great to work with, so natural and fully enjoy each other’s company while we photograph them they are.
