JC and Yas: Burbank Wedding

JC and Yas: Burbank Wedding
Location: The Castaway, Burbank

JC and Yas were referred to us by our former client, Bing and Peter. Some people prepare their wedding in 6-12 months. We prepared our wedding for almost two years. JC and Yas? We call them buzzer beaters. Why? Can you think of a couple who prepared a beautiful wedding in just two weeks? Yep, you read it right. Two weeks. When Yas called and told us that their wedding will be in two weeks, we were stunned. How are we supposed to prepare the logistics for the photoshoot? This is where God's guidance came in because everything went well during our engagement session. What is more interesting is that I found out that the three of us (Yas, JC and I--- Thet here speaking!) worked for the same company. I was just a couple of years ahead of them. This is the reason why when I asked them how their love story started, I coined it as the "Office Encounter." These two have been together for a long time already before they tied the knot. They defied the test of time, life's trials and I guess, each other's patience. LOL

Their wedding was well-attended by their closest friends and dear extended family members. There were tears of joy, laughter, diva-like singing (courtesy of Hannah and Angel!) and heartfelt speeches. The ceremony location was lovely, food was awesome and everyone appeared to have great time. Wished we had more hours to capture this one heck of a wedding celebration. To JC and Yas, this is a long overdue post but then again...

Happy 1st Anniversary JC and Yas! Cheers to lovelier and more fruitful married years ahead! :)

Welcome 2015!

Welcome 2015!
Now that we have squared away all our 2013 wedding updates, updates from 2014 weddings and other events coverage are in already in placed. For now, here is a glimpse of our humble studio located in Uptown Whittier.  We take pride of this studio. We did not hire a contractor. We divided the workload from installing the flooring, painting the walls etc. This was full of labor of love. :)

Anyway, we are excited to share to you our photo shoots from 2014 so please anticipate the loads of update in the next coming days! :)

Angel and Natalie: Castle Green Wedding

Angel and Natalie: Castle Green Wedding
Reception: Castle Green, Pasadena
Wedding Date: December 22, 2013

When we met Angel and Natalie, we knew that we are going to hit it instantly not only because they are kind but we also share the same wedding date. Yep! We share December 22nd as our wedding anniversary. They are one of the most down-to-earth couple we have ever met. Aside from the fact that they put their 100% trust in us, they also made us feel as if we are part of their family. We have so many nice things to say about these two. They both have wonderful families and we love their dogs too! But above all these things, we felt their unconditional love for each other. The way Angel look at Natalie and the way Natalie hold Angel's hands is something beyond words can describe.

As of this writing, they are waiting for their bundle of joy. We can't wait to see their Baby Martinez! For now, here are some photos from their wedding.

JC and Yas. They have been together for a long time so their engagement announcement didn't come as a surprise anymore. They are really down-to-heart and kind-hearted people. When we did our engagement photoshoot, it felt like we have known each other for a long time. They also got pretty comfortable with our cameras instantly. :)  The supposedly 2-hour photoshoot became 3 hours! Here are some pictures to enjoy. (:

Gaby and Steve: Huntington Beach Wedding

Gaby and Steve: Huntington Beach Wedding
Location: Huntington Beach Hotel

At last! After more than 8 months of not updating this blog, here is an update from Gaby and Steve's wedding (10/18/13). We've been getting quite a number of emails to update our website. And we could not count the number of apologies we have sent. Since we have opened our physical studio, things have been seriously crazy. But this should be the beginning of our wedding and engagement updates. :)

Anyway, we met Steve and Gaby during the infant stage of Russ and Thet Studio. We could not be happier that they trusted us to cover the most important day of their lives despite of the fact that we just barely started our photography business. We did not have a hard time photographing these two. Our cameras  just love them! Their wedding was graced with the closest and most important people in their lives. Gaby and Steve were so nice and kind. They have high standards when it comes to photos so we did not want to disappoint them. Steve looks dapper and handsome in his suit while Gaby looked like an elegant princess.  The details were to die for too! We totally dig their wedding. Here are some pictures to enjoy! :)

Engagement: Angel and Natalie

Engagement: Angel and Natalie
So after a long while of not updating this website, we finally got the opportunity to finally sit down and post something new. Mind you, this engagement is a photo shoot that we had almost a year a go. Yep, you read it right. A year ago. :)

Natalie and Angel complements each other. They are one of the nicest couples we ever met. We had so much fun doing this uber quick engagement photo shoot. Our camera loves them! While they are already very good looking couple, they looked very natural and natural too! Time really so fast. Last week, we had the chance to shoot Natalie's maternity portrait and yet, it feels like it was only yesterday when we had their engagement session. Their wedding pictures will be up soon. But for now, here is their engagement session. :)
