La Mirada Golf Course Wedding: Bianca and Edgar

Bianca and Edgar have been together for long time. They have their shares of ups and downs and they managed to stay together because they have faith in each other. They proved that their love for each other is bigger and stronger than any possible obstacle they may come across.

They had a beautiful traditional Catholic wedding at St. Dominic Savio in Bellflower. This was followed by their elegant weddingr eception at the La Mirada Gold course. There were overflowing emotions on this day: tears of joy, excitement and genuine happiness for these two. And with that note, we would like to end this post with their wedding video highlight.

Victoria Beach/Yorba Park Engagement: Walter + Honey

We couldn’t resist sharing a romantic engagement shoot of our lovely couple, Walter and Honey. The session was captured here at the historic setting of Yorba Park. We love the flourish of natural colors of outdoors shoot which made a perfect backdrop for Walter and Honey flashy outfit.

They wanted a session with a picnic theme. They brought all the props, the flowers, sweets, and champagnes. This delightful shoot captured by our team with a simple and serene setting which gave us of lots of lovely lighter color tones, as well as making use of the lovely natural light. Walter and Honey wore outfits which complimented each other so well.  Not to mentions their kids, who are both stylish and smart.  The strong bond between them was evident from the start and very heart warming. The natural images which reflect the mood of the moment and some tenderness and affection between our couple is our ultimate goal. They were so playful yet wonderful tender with each other- a joy to photograph.

But we are still not over, Walter and Honey continued our engagement shoot at Victoria Beach. This shoot was calm, peaceful and dreamily romantic. As the sun lowered in the sky, we were able to capture beautiful tender moments between our lovely pair! The light was just beautiful that evening. The light gave options creating some interesting silhouettes. Walter and Honey were such good company and needed little direction. They’re so fit naturally together.

With the super talented photographer, Russ and Thet (LOL) capturing moments of our gorgeous couple. The style is just stunning. The light, the laughter, the love story - this makes for one seriously gorgeous engagement shoot.

Congratulations to Walter and Honey! We wish you happiness on your upcoming wedding.

We are delighted to share the results of our photo shoot.

Save The Date: Jah and Richard

Jah and Rich have been dating for over 15 years. 15 freaking years?!! That's almost half of the lifetime for most of our clients. We can only imagine how many ups and downs,  challenges and trials they have been through. And after all these years, their relationship is still getting stronger. Less than a month from now, they will finally (it is about darn time!) tie the knot. :)

Early this year, Jah reached out to us, introduced themselves and shared to us how they envisioned their wedding celebration is going to be. After few exchanges of emails and setting proper expectations, we both signed the contract. The deal was officially 'sealed' even without meeting each other. Right then and there, trust was built between us.

We did not meet Jah and Rich until mid-August when we shot their save-the-date video shoot.  Instantly, we can tell that there was an instant rapport between the client and the vendor. It was as if we have known each other for quite some time. Shooting their video was such a breeze. That is why we could not wait for their wedding to happen this September!

Wedding Video Highlight: Jennifer + TO

We met TO and Jen more than a year before their wedding. At the time they booked us, we only had 3 video to showcase but it didn't prevent them from booking us. Right off the bat, we felt the connection. We have established trust and rapport. When booking a vendor and when accepting a client, the established connection is something very important for us.

Fastforward to April 2017. We met Jen and T.O again for their save the date video shoot. It drizzled on this day but neither stopped us nor dampen our mood. Jen and TO were all prepared with their outift and with the one prop which we find seriously meaningful- a plastic rose. During the early stage of their relationship, Jen gave TO a bunch of flowers with one plastic rose and told him that when the last flower dies, that is the time he will stop loving him. Isn't that the sweetest?!? :)

If there is one thing to describe how their wedding turned out, the word PERFECT is the first thing that came to our mind. From the dress/suit, hair and make up and reception details, everything just flowed smoothly. We really had a great time capturing their wedding. And with that, we are so proud to share their wedding day highlight. Enjoy!

Engagement Preview: Roy + Stephanie

How wonderful it is when couples are excited for things to come, when they look forward to the things that God has in store for them. We’re delighted to share Roy and Stephanie beautiful engagement sessions captured by our team! A sun filled day in Downtown Los Angeles. They chose a part of the city they loved to visit. They wanted a Downtown engagement shoot and an urban feel, but an elegant and pretty urban rather than a gritty urban. The beautiful areas with open spaces and great views. A little greenery and some beautiful buildings made for some great photos.

Roy and Stephanie had a specific vision for their day. They wanted it to be classy, fun and with a little glam thrown in the mix. The mood was light, relaxed but dull of excitement for the day ahead. They know how to laugh and enjoy the others company. When we met up with them we immediately were drawn to their fun personalities. Stephanie is energetic, fun and vibrant. Roy is more on the quiet side but he did bring us lots of laughs. Together they are super compatible ad such a joy to hang out with.

The gorgeous sunny day turned into warm and beautiful evening. We grabbed a few moment with the happy couple for some night time photos. Their pictures came out so romantic.

The setting in Downtown was certainly rad but the company was even better. That’s because Roy and Stephanie were completely relaxed, fun and were just good people. I mean they were genuinely awesome people and I hope our photos captured some energy because it was a great day.  We still have a really lovely time together and Roy and Stephanie were a total joy to photograph with and get to know a little better!

Roy and Stephanie, we just adore you both! We can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year. Enjoy some of our favorites from your shoot!

Wedding Video Highlight: Christina + Joe

"True love doesn't happen right away; it's an ever-growing process. It develops after you've gone through many ups and downs, when you've suffered together, cried together, laughed together."

Christina and Joe's love story was truly one of a kind. Albeit young, this did not prevent them from pursuing most people have a hard time finding - TRUE LOVE. Watch this wedding day video highlight to experiencevthe same feeling of love and burning passion they have for each other.

Wedding Preview: Kevin + Frances

It was a very calm scene when our day started. The couple had chosen gorgeous flowers to create beautiful bouquet and a real natural feel totally fitted with the style of Kevin and France’s wedding. Their whole approach to the day was to enjoy themselves and have a wonderfully relaxed and happy day. They were totally true to their own style, from the choice of venue, the ceremony and the decorations.  Our couple had chosen to keep things simple, as the venue is quiet ornate which created a pretty, understated elegance to it.

One of the things we always love about wedding mornings is seeing the dress of the bride had chosen and the style they went for. Frances chose her wedding dress that fits her personality, her style and her shape. It was really elegant. And Kevin was such a debonair in his suit.

After the ceremony, we whisked our newlyweds away for a little wander to get some photos. There are so many spots for photos, with hidden corners and places to explore. It was radiant. Everyone was ready for a good party as Kevin and Frances took the floor for their first dance. It wasn’t long before everyone else piled onto the dance floor and the party really started. As the day continued, Frances had a quick outfit change. She wore stunning red dress for the evening look. Our day ended with a last dash out for a few shots with the couple. Every angle is photogenic.

The couple had planned for a simple and elegant wedding with a joyful celebration; they certainly achieved that and more. The whole day made for the most relaxed, yet elegant wedding at Coco Palm Restaurant.

It was a pleasure to photograph Kevin and France wedding. They are the loveliest people and it was fabulous to a part of their wedding day. We hope you enjoy seeing their photos.

Save The Date Video: Kat and Henry

Kath and Henry are one of the most laid back clients we ever had. They are so chill and went with the flow which made their engagement shoot a breeze. We have so much to tell about this amazing couple but we are going to save those stories on their full wedding blog. For now, we want to share this save the date engagement video. :)
